Another Envie

Here is yet another of my decorated envies. This one is for my dear blogging friend Martina, who kindly agreed to take one of the Decos that were sent to me. Thank you Martina!

Mail Art envelope

Here is another mail art envelope for a swap on swap-bot. Making these is just so much fun! I disguised the address on the scan as I thought the recipient might not like to see her address publicly displayed on my blog...
Main image Lisa's Altered Art altered by me. Most other bits from Efies.blogspot.com

Another Deco page

I received two deco booklets to do pages for so here is the second page I did. This ones theme was vintage travel. The booklet has been travelling the world since March 2008. I hope it reaches its destination soon. Main image is from Eliza's tintypes altered by me. Most other bits are from Efies blog. French text from a gift of Land of Nod studios.

My first Deco

Today I received two Deco books from one of my Flickr friends. I only recently found out about decos (there are just so many things to discover in the art world out there).
The theme of the first one was "Glamour Girls".
I decided to use my digital card I made for the SPA challenge on Sunday as my central image as it seemed to suit the theme just perfectly.
Anyway, here is my page.

I would love to start a deco myself now. If anyone is interested, please leave a comment.

Two mail art envelopes and a zetti skinny

I have completely fallen in love with creating mail art envelopes. All these things were created for various swaps on swap bot. Many of the elements came from the amazing Effi who provides enless images for absolutely free. You can find her here

The Three Muses "Legs"

The new theme at the three Ms is "legs". I was pretty sure I was going to do stripy legs of some sort, but in the end I created this skinny. I love those beautiful innocent legs... I could not scan it because of the roses at the top and unfortunately the photgraph did not turn out very well and is rather darker than the actual piece. The image is from a William Bouguereau CD I got from Lanargirl.com

Yet another zetti style spread

Today I did yet another zetti style journal spread. Somehow I have fallen in love with this style. And yes, I know I am about two years behind everybody else, ah well...

Journal page

A journal page using many of the same elements as the skinny below., I just had to play with them some more. Like usual I am showing the page before journalling has been added.

Zetti style skinny created for a swap on Swap-Bot. Most of the collage elements are from a brilliant free sheet created by Terri Kahr from Pringle Hill Studios. Thank you Terri for this wonderful sheet! You can find it here

The Three Muses "Stars"

The theme at the three muses is stars this week. I decided to go digital for a change (still learning lol). Here are my two interpretations. I decided to stay with the heavenly stars...

Symbolic self portrait

This is the second page I have done in my special journal for Pam Carriker's Journalling 365 workshop. The symbolic self portrait was done in conte creayon, you create the highlights with a kneadable eraser. I have never used a conte crayon before in my life and it is quite different from any other medium I have worked with before. The whole process took me well out of my comfort zone but is well worth exploring further. Pam is a brilliant teacher!

Birthday Card

Birthday Card
Just got a whole lot of new stamps from a brilliant place called the Stamp Smith. This is the image that I first saw on Docraft and really liked. I asked the friend who has used it in an ATC, where she got it. Well she borrowed it from a friend who got it from ebay as a one off. But.... it had a title. I googled the title, and hey presto found the site. They have great stamps and offer a really friendly fast service. I highly recommend them!
